also bc i’m just saying stuff tonight as someone who has had acne since age 10. i would say most of the time with a high certainty it is just hormonal. it is just hormonal and u r not an exceptionally gross sewer person you are not doing anything “wrong” you don’t need to just “find the right skin care product” you’re not even DIRTY or unbelievably greasy you’re just a person with skin and skin breaks out because of oil produced BY skin and you’re not like. producing an exceptional alien amount most likely you’re just a human being. the skincare industry was created to make people believe having smooth tight poreless (pale..) unblemished no tonal variation skin = healthy and beautiful and it has been reinforced into our minds for YEARS to the point where “i’m unproblematic so i have clear skin” is a true thing people believe. i can tell you with CERTAINTY that if you’re like… doing a 10 step skincare routine you’ve done acne washes you’re drinking 4 litres of water a day you’re vegan you’re vegetarian you’re sleeping on a silk pillow case you change every night you use scrubs and toners and special patented face cloths and face masks and you do an entire year of subscription based skincare products mailed to your door you’re doing physical exfoliation and chemical exfoliation and vitamin a and c and retinol and zinc and acid and soaps mined out of some random country of the year hailed as the skincare central and korean beauty routines and you’re using ice and cold spoons and jade rollers and topical perscription acid and cream and 10 rounds of different antibiotics and you’re not touching your face and you STILL HAVE ACNE.. well that’s because these things are not designed to help you or only designed to help with something else that is also ultimately a bit contrived and just there to mine your money and make you feel like you’re a freak for having skin. and i don’t really have advice to give except to like not be so hard on yourself and try and if u must follow influencers find ones with visible acne who isn’t on week 52 of trying to “get rid of it” and look at your friends with acne and realise you would never call them gross or dirty or anything it wouldn’t even cross your mind they just have skin. And you just have skin and it will get better and as long as ur not causing ur self pain or in pain from it it’s fine and you look fine. no one even notices because literally everyone gets it. 💖

TERFs do not treat trans women/people they view as trans women as men. Y’all really need to get that bullshit out of your head. They’re a hate group specifically focused on demonizing and eradicating trans women and they’re literally allying with cis men to do it. Transmisogyny, specifically their brand, is not born out of a hatred of men and y’all will get nowhere as long as you pretend it is.

They’re bigots hyperfocused on enforcing gender laws based in white supremacist ideals, stop taking their word as truth.

I’ve perfected a new way to grind any unwanted to conversation to an unproductive screeching halt. I call it Mossing.

Deets about what?

What is mossing?

I’m glad you asked. Mossing is when you disrupt a conversation by acting as if every sentence the other person says is the beginning of a brand new conversation.

But why would you do that?

Huh? Why would I do what?

Low wage jobs are the backbone of our society. Rich people hear that and say “untouchable caste? Silent underclass to abuse as the basis of our society? Yes please”

sudoku.com will be adding a “morally grey” sudoku level for a nuanced and complex puzzle experience

people will not stop tagging this post with the name of a series about (as far as i can tell) people who get held hostage and forced to solve puzzles or something idk i skimmed the wikipedia page but i have to tell you all that kidnapping does not sound very morally gray to me? do you know what the term morally gray means.

FOR THE RECORD. i am aware that i am cheesy, corny, embarassing, cringe, stupid, have bad taste, etc. it just means i get to skip to the front of the line at the gates of heaven
